We are told that the Law of Attraction works whether you want it to or not. If you want to try to use it, you need to know how it works. Most of us would prefer to have a simple explanation. But is a simple explanation possible? This article may help with that.
This is how the Law of Attraction works. Imagine you are looking up into the sky. It's beautiful but quite featureless - there's nothing there to grab your attention. Then suddenly a bird flies across your field of vision.
It's hard not to let your eyes follow it.
The flying bird captures your attention. Now you have a choice. You can either focus on the bird - or you can return your attention to your contemplation of the sky.
The Law of Attraction works in a similar way on our lives. Perhaps one day you are contemplating the beauty of the world, and the happiness that exists all around. You see something that grabs your attention. It may be something that you do not like. You say to yourself, "No, I don't want that around here!"
Then you begin to start trying to figure out how to get rid of that thing you don't want. You come up with schemes to push it out of the way. You tell everyone about it, and how they ought to feel the same way, and join you in getting the unwanted thing out of the way.
Can you see how that unwanted thing has now become a big part of your life? By focusing on it to try to push it away, it has moved closer to you, until it now obscures your view of other things - those things that you do want to see.
People spend a lot of their time trying hard to put right what they see as being the wrongs of the world, but all they ever succeed in doing is making them increase. They get more and more distressed because the harder they try to eliminate the bad things, the more those things seem to get stronger.
A better way is to focus on the things that you do want to see in your life, or even to focus on nothing very much, and to be as non-attached as possible. In this way you can be happy, healthy and wealthy.
