When faced with an important decision about how to choose your path in life, how do you make that decision? What things do you have to think about? How can you make important decisions when so many of the factors are unknown? Is there a general rule you can follow that will always give you the right path for you? This article answers those questions.
There are times in life when you reach a crossroads, and at that point you have to decide what path out of those that are offered is the path you should choose to follow. The choice you make will depend on you. It will also depend on what kind of life you want to have, and on what you consider to be the most important aspects of the life.
Many people make this choice based on what others tell them is the best to choose, or perhaps more often, on what they think others would say they should choose. Frequently, a critical choice is made merely through keeping up appearances, or from trying to impress others.
Careful study of the Law of Attraction, and its implications, leads to the conclusion that there is really only one criterion you should use to judge what path you choose to take in preference to all others. You should choose the path which you feel is going to bring you the most happiness.
Your happiness is the most important thing in your life.
We are the masters of our own destiny. We create the life that we live, we create everything that is around us and in us, in creative co-operation with the universe. The mechanism by which this happens is the Law of Attraction. We create our life by attracting it. And we attract whatever we focus our attention on.
It is becoming more and more acknowledged in Law of Attraction circles and literature that our emotions are a gift from the universe to help us in making choices. When we are happy and feeling confident and positive, it is a sign that we are in harmony with our true self, and we are then attracting the things and situations we want to have. At such times we are on the right path - that is, a path that leads to our continuing happiness, health and wealth. If we are not feeling those positive emotions, then we are not in harmony with our true self, and we will thus attract what we do not want.
This is why we say that it is important to choose the path that we think or feel will make us happy. In a way, this may seem an obvious thing to say. Why would anyone voluntarily choose a path that would make them unhappy? And yet, this is exactly what so many people do, and they may well do it many times in their life. In making decisions which deprive them of happiness, they choose to create a life which is deprived of health, wealth, and positivity.
By choosing the path that leads to your happiness, you will be aligning yourself in harmony with your true self, and you will then move into a positive space of attracting health, wealth, and well-being.
It may seem a selfish choice to select a path which leads to one's own happiness. What about the needs of other people, such as one's own family?
Each situation is different, so it is impossible to generalize about this. Everyone must make their choices based on the merits of the particular life situation they are in. But clearly, in most cases, your family would be more pleased if you were happy than if you were miserable. So although at first your family may not approve of a particular life choice you make, when they later see that it has made you happy, then they will almost certainly be content with that.
Another point to make is that if you are generally happy, and you are brimming over with positive ideas and outlook, this attitude will tend to rub off on other people. They themselves will feel happier when they are around you. As we have seen from what we said earlier, this will cause them to attract positive situations for themselves, by starting from the happy, positive feelings you have given them. Far from being selfish then, you will have been of service to others, purely by being happy with what you are doing.
When you are using your emotions as a guide, you will begin to attract more wealth to you. This wealth can always be used to help others who do not have as much as you do. This kind of giving, without expectation of return, is strongly encouraged by all the leading practitioners of the Law of Attraction.
We said at the start that when making crucial decisions, you should choose the path that leads to your happiness. In one sense, it's true to say that every minute of your life, every second, you are making a decision about the path to choose as you continue into the future. The answer is still the same, choose happiness over all.
Of course, there will always be some times when the path that you believed would bring you happiness, does not in fact do so. At these times, it is important not to feel downhearted, but to change your path to choose what will make you happy from where you are now. You must always choose to begin from where you are now, and where you are now is the perfect place to be, in order to make that beginning. As someone said, today is that day!
When you have continuing, ongoing happiness in place in your life, then all the rest - health, wealth, positive space, freedom - will follow naturally as a result of the working of the Law of Attraction.
