Activating the Law of Attraction: Vision Boards

A vision board is a useful and powerful tool which activates the Law of Attraction. It begins the process of manifesting your dreams into reality. Through the generations, they have been referred to as goal boards, goal maps, or treasure maps. Since the film release of The Secret, they have regained popularity.
The purpose of your vision board is to bring your dreams, goals, and desires into reality. Think about what you want. It is important to decide the focus, theme, or topic of your vision board.
There are four main elements to include:
1, Visual. The subconscious mind works with visuals. Including as many visual representations of your desired dreams focuses the subconscious. Adding words and phrases emphasizes emotional responses.
2. Emotional. When you look at your selected pictures, you should feel happy and passionate. These feelings should energize to move forward to take further action toward your goal.
3. Strategically-Placed. In order to manifest your goals quicker, your vision board needs to be located in a place where you can constantly see it. This way, you are telling your subconscious what you want and its energy is working on manifesting your dreams into a reality.
4, Personal. Sometimes, self-doubt, criticism, or simply negative feelings can block the energy your vision board radiates. So, if you feel any negativity, place your board in a private place where your board is only visible to you.
5 Steps to Creating a Vision Board:
Step 1: Find pictures, images, phrases from magazines, brochures, online, anywhere, which pertain to your goal. First, compile them. Don't judge them. Just play around. See which ones strike a chord with you.
Step 2: Sort and Cut your pictures. See which pictures give you the greatest positive emotional response.
Step 3: Arrange and glue pictures: Don't worry about being Picasso. Just enjoy the process. Again, think about emotionality. After you have finished gluing your pictures, add some words, phrases which connect to your chosen pictures.
Step 4: Strategic-Placement: Important. This is where you must figure out where you will have the most exposure to your vision board. It may be your bedroom, living room, car, or office. It doesn't matter as long as it in a safe place. Remember, negative feelings can destroy the energy your vision board emits. So, if you have negative feelings, be sure the vision board can be seen by you.
Step 5: Update. This is not a final piece of art. It is a work in progress. Your life is constantly changing. As you see and feel your life progresses, place new pictures, phrases on your board. Keep your inspirations alive. Place fresh images when you sense positive shifts and changes to keep your passion going.
